On Cathedral Sunday partnerships will be highlighted that are all focused on children and their nurturing, care, growth, and enrichment.  They are all housed in the Education Building of the Cathedral, which was made possible by a gift from the first Dean of the Cathedral, Frederick Adams.

Trinity Cathedral Academy is a free pre-school program for 3 and 4 year old children who live in Trenton NJ.  The program is funded by the State of New Jersey and administered through the Trenton Board of Education.  We support three Abbott classes at Trinity Cathedral Academy.  Each class is made up of 15 children, a certified teacher, and teacher assistant.  The educational component of the program runs from 9 AM to 3 PM.  Before and After Care is available to families who are eligible.  Before and After Care is provided from 7:30 - 9 AM in the morning and from 3 PM - 5:30 PM in the afternoon.   On Cathedral Sunday there will be information and registration information available about the Academy.

Urban Promise Trenton's home office is at Trinity Cathedral.  Urban Promise Trenton provides free After School and Summer Camp programs open to all children in Trenton and nearby neighborhoods.  The mission of Urban Promise Trenton is to equip the children (6 - 12 years old) and the teens (13 - 19 years old) with the academic, spiritual, leadership, and life skills required for a meaningful and successful future. The After School program follows the calendar of the Trenton Public Schools and runs from 3:30 - 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday for the young children, and Monday through Friday for the teens.  The summer camp runs for 5 weeks in July and early August.  It runs from 8:30 - 4 PM and provides breakfast, lunch, and a variety of wonderful opportunities and activities for all participants.  On Cathedral Sunday, the Urban Promise Praise Dancers will present a brief snapshot of their way to Praise God.

Blue Mountain Festival Day Camp provides an opportunity for the development of musical talent in the children and youth from the Trenton area.  During the school year, Blue Mountain's Executive Director, Sherri Anderson, provides music lessons in the Education building.  In the summer she runs a camp for up to 30 young people for the first two weeks in July.  The culmination of the two week camp is a performance at a Trenton Thunder game, and a concert for all in the Cathedral.  On Cathedral Sunday you will hear 2 outstanding teens who have trained with Blue Mountain since they were in elementary school share their talents."
