Lay Eucharistic Ministry

Chalice Bearers assist with the celebration of the Eucharist, and particularly with serving the chalice at the altar rail. Lectors read the first and second lessons, and/or the prayers of the people, during worship. Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring Communion to community members unable to come physically to the Cathedral, including the residents of Hamilton Grove Care and Rehabilitation Center. Trinity Cathedral has a dedicated group of Lectors, Chalice Bearers and Lay Eucharistic Visitors who serve at our Wednesday Healing Eucharist, Sunday Worship, and often at Diocesan events. If you are interested, full training will be provided, along with assistance with the licensing process and approval by the Bishop.

Grant, Almighty God, that those who minister the Bread of Life and cup of blessing may live in love and holiness according to your commandment, and at the last come to the joy of your heavenly feast with all your saints in light; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
